This is an enterprise mission story that talks about the film “ God and Allah need to talk” written produced and directed by Ruth Sharone, a Jewish American film maker and an interfaith activist from Los Angeles. The film talks about God and Allah being the same divine power and the fact that Gods children need to talk to each other rather then God talking to himself. The story is set against the backdrop of an interfaith initiative taken by the Ambassador of Bangladesh His Excellency Shamsheer Chowdry together with film maker and interfaith activist Ruth Sharon, to launch and evening of multicultural dialogue and help people from different faith groups and religions to get together and find common grounds amongst themselves and their different beliefs. The event also marked post thanksgiving celebrations where representatives from all the major faith groups of the world got together to dialogue, communicate, screen the film and at the end of the event they all broke bread together to commemorate the struggles of all world religions to coexist in harmony. ARE WE READY ?
God forbid… but what if an Earthquake hits Karachi or Lahore?
Are we ready to face another calamity of such a scale that hit Pakistan on October 8th 2005? According to the current scenario we are definitely not even close to being ready.
We were never ready before and neither are we now? Whatever the Government can do is another story but it’s about time that the Pakistani intelligentsia and the people of Pakistan start doing some thing about it.
We need to hook up with international seismological societies and find out ways on how to save our families and millions of others at risk. Does anybody care that Islamabad and the areas beyond lie on the fault line?
The Pakistan seismological society, that’s if there is one, and the likes should be in red alert mode and should be thinking about what precautions can we take to protect the innocent people and their livelihoods incase another calamity hits Pakistan.
We can’t afford to loose the children of our country once again because without them Pakistan does not have a future.

learn to be
If something is not meant for you then that does not mean you can seize its right to exist… even God Almighty himself did not exercise that privilege.
I think King Abdullah was right, we should stop thinking about tolerance and start discussing acceptance and what lies beyond it.
Freedom of speech, and press, on display, and there’s so much that we can learn from it. God has created existence and it has been evolving since then and will keep doing so until nature wishes to.
What we can pick out of this is the fact that we can be more than tolerant, we can be accepting and be accepted and look around and find so much of beautiful diversity.
Take it like so many different and various parts of one body. The face not matching the legs, the hands not matching the head, yet, all play their own significant life saving roles.
Can you learn to be more acceptable?

Insulting eachother wont take us anywhere
I know you can’t believe it just like how I can’t along with millions of others. But the fact is that this has been going on since the Prophets time (peace be upon him).
The solution lies in helping the west and other non Muslims learn and know what true Islam is all about. WE FEAR WHAT WE DO NOT KNOW. The newspapers in Europe reprinted those cartoons to publicize themselves and they are succeeding in that.
It’s up to us and our intelligent decision making sense that we reply to this as professionally as possible. Muslims will never go out and do that to Jesus or to Moses or to Abraham because they believe in them. The difference is that no other religion believes in Mohammad (peace be upon him) even though he was mentioned clearly in Torah and in the Bible untill the new versions took over the human mindset. You cannot recreate or rewrite the words of God... people.
This is just how humans tend to destroy themselves by their own stupidities. We cant deny facts and the fact is that, that day is getting closer when foolish humans will extinct themselves just like how so many of them have lived and died, and then vanished... in the past.
I only hope that the young ones wake up to the sound of their God's calling and try to make sense out of all this.
